This is the story about one ofthe oldest local clubs in Victoria. A Club older than Collingwood, Richmond or Hawthorn. A Club that for decades was the heart and soul of Canterbury with all the famous names of the suburb Malone, Maling, Logan, Hassett, Camm, Scott, Staig involved. A Club that has had two Hawthorn Captains, one Hawthorn multiple premiership player, a Hawthorn President, a South Australian Hall of Fame Player 3 time all Australian, Richmond premiership player of the 40's and the Shinboner of the first half century amongst others. Whose jumper was chosen by the Canterbury community to commemorate the first Anzacs in Flanders. A Club who has been to deaths door countless times and still survived.
