During WWII, William’s mother abandoned him when he was only three years old. For the next few years, his grandmother provided for and loved him. William had no idea of the trials that lay ahead of him.
At age six, his father remarried and William’s world was torn apart. For the next ten years, he was ostracised and beaten by a pitiless stepmother while his father seemed indifferent to his suffering.

About the Author

Roger Page

Roger Page was born in Melbourne. He has experienced many facets of life, working for his Father for many years in an uncaring environment, and grieving the loss of his Mother at a very young age. He has worked as a plant operator on Bougainville Island, professional dear hunter in New Zealand, where he began his flying experience, and continued to fly various types of aircraft for the next 30 years. He has flown to many places in the world during his flying experience. He began his Real Estate career in 1972 and remained an agent for 35 years. He owned and operated a very successful real estate office at Southport, Gold Coast for 18 years before retiring to a much less stressful life travelling Australia full time for near seven years in the company of his loving wife Kerrie. They have been married for 42 years and have two Sons. Roger has been a Justice of the Peace for 32 years. He is currently well on the way to his second book.
