Solace + Yearning
Community Arts Project from Denmark, Western Australia
“Along the edges, voices call softly, softly… the past speaking to the present.”
Solace+Yearning is a beautiful and intriguing performance created by community members from the small Western Australian town of Denmark. The sell-out hit of 2012 Brave New Works festival, this book provides insights into a unique project that gently explores the guilt and hope woven into Australia’s story.
