Billy Todd is a former Australian boxing champion. He was a bouncer for many years at some of the city’s most infamous venues, including the Forbes Club in Kings Cross where Australian author Robert G Barrett set his popular Les Norton series of books. Billy was also a fitness trainer for Parramatta, Canterbury, Wests and Cronulla when rugby league transformed into the professional spectacle it is today. He helped pioneer the personal fitness industry in Sydney too while working privately with the city’s business elite including Australia’s richest man Kerry Packer. Billy was also connected to Sydney’s underworld and good mates with gangster mastermind Stan ‘The Man’ Smith. Despite Billy’s event-filled life he remains an honest man unaffected by it all. In this book he shares many of his stories with humour and intrigue.
