How bizarre that we all spend a
lifetime pondering a question which has already been
answered the day we were born!
People will often ask, “How are you?”
But we prefer to stare into the mirror and ask, “Who are
you?”
We all define ourselves by what we own, where we live, and
what we do.
But what if you found yourself penniless, homeless, and
unemployed?
Who would you be then?
As you take your next breath, think about
Who gives it to you? Who gave you your mouth,
your nostrils, and your lungs? Who gave you your body and
your soul? What is your soul anyway? Did you have any say
in it?
What exactly do you have any say in?
You refer to them as ‘your’ body and ‘your’ soul, but who
are you? To who do they both belong?
Are you looking for answers? Are you running on empty? Are
you tired and restless, looking for a fresh start? Then
start by learning who it is that wears your skin.
But be warned! Once you know that you know what you know,
never again will anybody ask, “How are you?”
Why?
Because the confidence in your eyes will be more than
enough to do all the talking!
