Sage : 101 Faces of Age
In her book, SAGE:101 Faces of Age, Robyn Lambert documents year by year the process, response and attitudes about age, from the very young to the very old. It is a fascinating insight into the most natural of all processes and helps to highlight what is positive about ageing; in a society which reveres ‘youth’ and staying young.
Many people walked away from the exhibition feeing more positive about growing older and expressed a desire to see the subject matter in a book.
Here are some comments from the exhibition.
“I have so enjoyed all these stories and feel I know all the people individually. The exhibition has been thoughtfully & skillfully put together. A special & memorable exhibition. I am so pleased to be have been lucky enough to see it. Thankyou.”
“Fantastic show. Congratulations. Inspiration for every generation. Having reached the tender age of 40 this year has made me reflect on life so far & reading the stories of those older than myself has given me hope for the future!” Jamie (photographer)
