Their wedding day looms, Daniel Starr and Betty Rage are soon to wed, but within two days of their wedding the end of the world is upon them. They have a job to do, save as many lives as they can. All they have is their love for one another and their eternal gift of love to humanity. The Old Ones have returned with a vengeance, they now have an understanding of their abilities and knowledge of their extraterrestrial friends to aid in their battle for survival.

New friends from space and from the depths of the oceans bring new revelations as the life ending catastrophe arrives. But what can they do? They can’t stop the inevitable. All the while an evil force sits quietly in the background, manipulating everyone, feeding off their anguish and pain.

About the Author

Stephen Rose is an avid writer, who from an early age loved writing poetry. His love of science fiction started at about ten years old when he would stay up late on a Friday or Saturday night watching as many black and white sci-fi movies he could. After school he would watch all the science fiction series that aired in the early 1970’s. In High School he started reading science fiction and historical fiction and has continued that love until now. He enjoys writing, drawing, model making and until recently skateboarding

A Town Called Taxi his first published book was born early in 2020 during the onset of the Covid19 pandemic. The uncertainty of the future inspiring his storyline. Stephen finished that and carried on the story with TAXI The House of Ra in October 2023 and was thrilled to get that published in June 2025.
Stephen has written two other books in this series called The Old Ones Saga, book 3 is TAXI, The Dawn of Isis which is now ready for editing and hopefully published late in 2025, early 26.

Stephen lives in North Queensland, Australia on acreage property with his wife and dogs.
